Thursday Sevillanas with Olivia

Sevillanas is one of the most popular flamenco dances in Andalucia (and worldwide!), commonly seen at the Feria de Abril in Sevilla and at parties and festivals throughout Southern Spain. Sevillanas has four parts (or coplas), and is danced with a partner (male or female), with set steps for each section. This dance is a MUST for all flamenco dancers!
This class is for Advanced Beginner level students who already have knowledge and experience with basic flamenco dance techniques (such as braceo, floreo, taconeo/zapateado, etc). It is an 8 CLASS SESSION, with roughly 2 classes allotted per section (copla), so consistent attendance is important! Students will have access to a video of each class and may attend online via Zoom (although in-person is more fun!)
